Me in a Nut Shell

Hi, my name is Chelsea Curtis and I'm so excited to share

my journey through cosmetology school and have the opportunity to

reach out to all those women, and men, who have any interest in hair, beauty

and fashion. I just reached my halfway mark through school and

can't believe how fast time has flown!

I never knew I had a passion for hair until I received my Associates of Science

from Dixie State College and had no clue what my next move was.

I went from education to sports science but nothing came up that excited

me or made me want to know more. One morning I woke up and said,

"I'M GOING TO HAIR SCHOOL!!!"

This not only confused me but confused my husband and family members.

I think to this day my family is still a little skeptical of my

career choice. This is only because in high school I guess I was considered

a "jock" and loved being involved in sports and all those

non-girly activities.

As random as my choice was, I believe it's the best one I could have made.

I feel as though I was always meant to be in this industry

and wish I would've paid more attention to it while I was growing up.

My passion for hair continues to grow and thanks to

Taylor Andrews Hair Academy, I'm constantly learning new tricks and

developing my talent each day. Taylor Andrews is filled with great people and

talented instructors. They're constantly giving me the tools I need

 to be successful in the "Real World."

This blog is going to filled with my before and after shots, any photo shoots

I do, cool hair tricks, fun facts, videos and anything else that has

to do with hair, beauty and fashion. Follow me through this journey!
